    Wouldn't it have been prudent to announce this PRIOR to the expiration of the previous date?

    This does not effect the Champions League transfer deadlines, right?

    Certainly, this has no effect on UEFA deadlines. Jezus, things are out of control in Italy.

    But that would not be a transfer between domestic clubs.

    I don't think FIFA has any say in this at all. A leagues transfer market opens and closes at their discretion not FIFA's. England's transfer market is still open why would FIFA stop the Italian market from reopening?

    Correct. FIFA only has control over international issues not national.

    everybody knew this was going to happen before the original trading deadline expired,it was only made finally official

    and i believe there's one more transfer window in October
