Uhhhhh....let's see...Rivaldo wanted out of Barca because Van Gaal was coming back, he wanted a team that played in the Champions League, preferred Italy, wanted a nice salary that he deserves,...and oh yes...that HUGE dream to play against Ronaldo in a Milan derby...

Guess because of the latter, he'll just quit football and think that he has not achieved anything in life!?!?!? (forget about a World Cup, Copa America, World Football Player of the Year, oh...and somthing Ronaldo has never done...win a league title in Europe...Rivaldos got 2 ligas...Ronaldo Zip)

You outta look in the mirror for a real loser....... LOSER! (and quit your complaining about Rivaldo...you know Brazil wouldn't have won the World Cup without him)

    Predictions:

-R9 will only play in half of Real's matches this year due to injury.

-Real Madrid drop Adidas as their kit manufacturer, welcome Nike.

    -Inter win the scudetto :)

Though the idea of Ronaldo joining Real is now fact (bleeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)...............

...the thought of Madrid now switching to Nike would actually make me root for Rayo instead!?!?...

    please Real...don't "just do it"!!!!!

    incredible?!

there should be a clause in Ronaldo's contract that frees Real Madrid from paying the remaining installments if the players has to stop for more than 6 months consequently to an injury to the same knee he injured twice; laso, the club won't have any financial obligations to the player

if that's true,Inter got ripped again!

    Re: incredible?!

There is a clause in Ronaldo's contract if he gets injured again. But it doesn't affect Inter's transfer fee. If he gets injured Real don't have to pay Ronaldo anything. It seems Real came out of the deal pretty good.

Nike probably will offer a big, big kit deal that Real Madrid cannot refuse..... and I cannot imagine how big deal will be..... and this time next year, Real Madrid armed with the millions from the new Nike sponsorship deal will be shopping for the next big player. Shevchenko? Beckham?

Yep, I think so. I also would not be surprised for Nike to drop Inter. Figo, Roberto Carlos, and R9 are all big Nike stars, so they can't have them being seen in an Adidas kit all day long.

    Ronaldomania hits Madrid!!!! :)

lol! ROnaldo is still injured by the way. What a trade, Crespo, Cannavaro, and possibly Solari for putting Ronaldo on a different bench!

Just a little update on ROnaldo. Last weekend he scored twice on his debut for Real against Alaves, but now in midweek he is said to be overwieght and hence had to double his training amount. Oh hoover dam!
