Just heard on the radio that Raul has been rushed to a Madrid hopsital for an emergency appendix operation and will miss the game against Manchester united.

Oh man, this sucks. The question now is:

    Guti or Portillo?

This is a huge break for United. I hope Raul bounces back OK. Appendix problems can mess you up. He is in my prayers. From a football standpoint, as a neutral observer who wants to see the best game possible, this really saddens me. Raul rivals Zidane as Real's best player.

It will probably be Guti, but Portillo and Morientes will probably get more playing minutes because of this...well Portillo at least.

    Here
    It'll be Guti

I will agree with Oscar and choose Guti over Portillo.

Three weeks is gonna be a long time. Especially with out Raul. That will be tough. I just hope it won't decrease the possibility that we will win. He sure played an important part against Man Utd in the Bernabeu.

I just want him to recover as quick as possible. Real Madrid can't be the same with out him. :(

Was dame ferguson behindthis with the help of the SAS (or more likely the modern day SS -the mossad), sounds fishy considering he jokinlgy said after the fist leg that he would try to bar raul from entering the uk for the 2nd leg. Bet they applied some top secret microbe to reek havoc on his appendix. Doesn;t really matter , guti will grab a brace and Man u will wonder how Ruud can score 75+ goals in 2 years and not yield any silverware(okay i forgot the runner up plate from the worthington cup)
