Just heard on the radio that Raul has been rushed to a Madrid hopsital for an emergency appendix operation and will miss the game against Manchester united.

This is a huge break for United. I hope Raul bounces back OK. Appendix problems can mess you up. He is in my prayers. From a football standpoint, as a neutral observer who wants to see the best game possible, this really saddens me. Raul rivals Zidane as Real's best player.
It will probably be Guti, but Portillo and Morientes will probably get more playing minutes because of this...well Portillo at least.
It'll be Guti I will agree with Oscar and choose Guti over Portillo. Three weeks is gonna be a long time. Especially with out Raul. That will be tough. I just hope it won't decrease the possibility that we will win. He sure played an important part against Man Utd in the Bernabeu. I just want him to recover as quick as possible. Real Madrid can't be the same with out him.
