Hurley's... Crescent St.... only tourists and anglophone drunkards allowed Seriously locals in Montreal hate that part of the city... but every time I talk to an English Canadian or American, they ended up drinking there for three days straight
I don't know when the presser will be. One would assume that it will be in papers tomorrow and presser first thing in am gmt.
Who would buy an injured Sol right now? He barely played last year and now has had another injury. He is getting older and could fade out really fast. Can't see a club buying Sol now unless it was for next to nothing. I doubt that would happen unless we're really trying to cut the wages and beginning a rebuild bigger than we thought. I say don't panic or get excited until we hear from an actual press conference. BTW, is this the same source that had the trialist signed and the Beast deal done last week?
I don't believe that I ever quoted any such source. I got a text from Rick...in Austria. I trust this one...even if he is drunk.
I don't think Sol is being sold. He has been in Austria only to be with the team as he rehabilitates the calf injury. If he is going home it is probably just for further work at club facilities. I think there may just be a coincidence that he left for home and a press conference was announced.
Yeah, I got that distinct impression, but I didn't really care, as there was Guinness and Kilkenny on tap, and the music was great. We did go to L'Entrecote Saint Jean, where we had the table d'hote, which includes: ~ Soup or tomato juice; Walnut salad; Sirloin steak Saint-Jean (Entrecote Saint-Jean), crispy french fries, mustard sauce; Chocolate profiteroles. That and a couple of bottles of wine kept us nice and warm.
Sol's been sold to MLS, where he'll play for the Metrostars or the LA Galaxy. You heard it here first. LOL!!!!!!!
I forgot to add the wink smilie to that last line so it sounded like I was questioning you. Nope. Just trying to point out that these rumors come and go all the time. Now wake up Rick and get some more details so we can panic for the next 12 hours.
Press conference? http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?article=294222&lid=NewsHeadline&sub=TV+Online:+Exclusive+Dennis+Bergkamp+webchat!&navlid=&sublid=&Title=TV+Online:+Exclusive+Dennis+Bergkamp+webchat!
I don't think so, as this is just a one one one web-chat with DB10. The press conference is a much bigger deal.
Ok....so who knows about EPL contracts? Are they guaranteed money (MLB, NBA) or can the club release a player at any time and then not have to pay his wages (NFL). If they are not guaranteed money and Sol really is still suffering from injury it is possible that they'd release him.
Yea but Arsenal.com has Wenger saying that Sol is part of his plans-just unable to play now b/c of injury!
