Sobrero, Hucles, and Kluegal all played in the first game against Norway. The US WON 3-1! The lone Norway goal was scored by Breaker Dagny Melgren. Congratulations to all the Breakers!

Thanks for the info. Here's the match report at USSoccer.

Sobrero played the full 90. Hucles started (team picture on the front page at ussoccer.com) and Kluegel replaced her at the half.

    All officials from China.

Next up, China on Sunday. China and Germany played to a 0-0 draw.

Our forgotten German international, Bettina Wiegmann. Is there any news whether Pia has been able to change her mind about leaving the Breakers and WUSA?

Check the Breakers photo page for a shot of Kluegel "bulking up". ;)

Also a shot of another Breaker in Asia, but not at Four Nations - Monica Gonzalez in Thailand.

According to one of her former teammates who spoke to her in China, Bettina is about to start her coaching of a U-15 team in another week. I don't think she is returning.

U.S. Women Fall to China 2-0

US gave up two first half goals. :(

Ninty minutes for Angela Hucles :) and 66 minutes for Kluegel as a starter. Kate Sobrero sat this one out.

Germany and Norway played to a 2-2 draw with Snoop Dagny picking up another goal.

    US plays Germany on Wednesday.

Another 90 minutes for Angela Hucles, full 90 for Sobrero, too.
Let's hope that she keeps that form when she rejoins the Breakers! :)
