The first place Boston Breakers have a bye week.

Great timing. Devvyn Hawkins is practicing hard and should be full strength when the team resumes action on June 21st against the resurgent Courage.

This week players are off with four different national teams.

Next week several starters will participate in the All-Star game.

So how do you hold onto first place? Coach Pia is holding one or two practices each day with those still around, with a local college 'keeper and the coaching staff filling in so that they have enough players for scrimmages.

And it's been announced that we will get some WWC'03 matches at Foxboro. :)

Damn good time to be a women's soccer fan in New England.

I guess we'll just have to beat the midgy ones again to keep you in 1st place for yet another week...

    BTW, you're welcome! ;)

    Sincerely,

    The Carolina Courage
