How about picking up Braeden Clutier off waivers? With all the young, but unproven talent we need some ability on the wings. Who would you rather have Mark Lisi or Braden Cloutier? I don't buy all this talk about signing a foreign midfielder. Andy Williams is more than capable. Our weakness is on the wings. Whose gonna play right and left midfield? Davis,Villegas are gone. Braeden Cloutier would be a perfect pickup. He is young (28) and can't coct much. If we put Lisi and the likes og Klinger and Lisi on waiver we can afford to pickup Cloutier.

In my opinion Mark Lisi is much better than Braden Cloutier. And 28 is not exactly young. Zambrano hardly played Lisi last season. The only games i remember him playing more than 10 minutes were when he scored @ DC and when he had a breakaway and gave Faria a great pass for a goal @ KC. Lisi can play the wing better than Cloutier. Lisi is quick, he can pass, is good with his head, and hes also cheap. And also, Klinger has already been waived.

You know, I think this is the first nice thing I've read about Lisi on this forum since he was traded to Metro. I wonder if he's in Bradley's first team plans. If I recall, Lisi's play was pretty spotty with DCU.

Lisi always got high marks for offensive creativity. The knock on him has always been that he can't defend. Not exactly what you want on the wing in a 3-5-2.

Lisi also hated playing the wing when he was with DCU. He'd drift further and further inside until he was tripping over Etcheverry's mullet... I think he considers himself a #10 -- well, he can hit the through ball. But I'm not sure he's much of an improvement over Paule (if you still have him).

It doesn't look like we still have Paule. For the record, I liked him better than Lisi. Of course, so did Oz, so that opinion has to be evaluated carefully. :)

i believe that lisi is a way better player then cloutier. lisi has more ability in going forward and creating. i think that cloutier is probably a better defender. i dont see lisi on the outside of the midfield this year for you guys. i believe that he will be an inside player behind mathis and moreno.
i heard he had a good two weeks with myernick over in europe. sounded like he played well and created a lot.
    we shall see though.

    thanks.
