There is a good thread (although a lot of it is in Portuguese only) called "Possibilidades Brasileiras no Mundial" (Brazilian chances at the World Cup). You should search for it, read whatever you can and add something to it. Also, if you don't read Portuguese, encourage others to keep contributing to it in English.
