Seems like there has been an article every day saying it's going to happen for X or Y pounds. But it looks like today it's finally agreed on with only details like the medical remaining: https://ge.globo.com/futebol/futebo...ratacao-de-bruno-guimaraes-do-newcastle.ghtml 75 million pounds officially (though globo says the actual cost will be over 85 million). Big move for him. Arsenal will want to defend their title and make another push to finally win the CL. Let's see what happens with Vini and if Arsenal increase their push for him now that they have BG and Vini, reportedly, has been given a final offer from Real Madrid.
River has apparently hijacked Almada's deal from Flamengo. River are paying less to Atletico but are reportedly offering more to the player in terms of potential salary. Flamengo have also been after Luiz Henrique.
I find this saga interesting because everyone seems to agree Luiz Henrique should be a higher priority but Flamengo seems to be willing to wait until Almada decides before doing more business. I suppose the key is next week's Libertadores round. At this point, if you don't get a signing in by Saturday (the deadline to register for the next round) it doesn't matter if bring the player in next week or on the last day of the deadline. Now at least Flamengo can focus on Luiz Henrique, but they really need to beat Cruzeiro or the planning might change a little.
Vinicius has officially renewed with Real Madrid until 2032 The big question is not so much about the players, but if José Mourinho can push them to another CL title. Personally I think Vini moving elsewhere would have been interesting, but I understand staying at Madrid. Let's see if they can get back to their winning ways or if it will continue to be goals for Mbappé but no titles for the team.
I never thought you guys needed Almada. Seemed like a strange demand from Jardim. He honestly would have had to fight for a starting spot and other than the crazy salary River are giving him, might have been another reason Alamda chose them.
