So you really think Chivas can win in Argentina tonight? I don't know if they can pull it off. But I hope they do, revenge is in order. :D

Sorry, let me correct the information, I thought Chivas was already defined as São Paulo´s opponent for the semis.
Anyway, we have to charge :D some accounts receivable from both (Chivas and Velez, which defeated SPFC in penalties in 94 so avoiding us to reach thrice championship in Libertadores earlier)

the key save that ceni made shouldve been a re-kick since he advanced off his line before the kick was made. of course, referees tend to disregard this so who knows.

Didn't the other keeper do the same thing? That was one of Rogerio's argument. From what I saw, Rogerio stepped out just a tad bit further, but it was only after the guy started to run and was about to hit the ball.

Had the ref ordered to repeat the kick he would ve been incoherent cause the argentinian keeper did exactly the same as Rogerio Ceni.

Anyway, I think it s quite risky to play cards in penalty kicks, anything can happen.

If São Paulo wants to pass Chivas over, an urgent tactics change is required for Muricy as he used in the two previous matches against the mexicans.

It should be a great game!!

    ** salivating*****:D

In Chivas, we lost one of best defender's in Salcido to PSV, but it should still be a hell of a match!!

I feel whoever wins this series, will walk away with the title,

    may the best team win!!

    ***here's hoping for a Chiva win:D ***

Yeah, even though I'm BRASILEIRO and would like to see a BRASILEIRO team win, I am supporting Chivas, against SPFC, because at least Chivas don't have ANY foreigners, and MY COUNTRY is so destroyed, we will not qualify for the 2010 World Cup, unless MY COUNTRY can turn into North Korea.

PAYBACK PART 1, HAHAHAHAH! We have won in Guadalara!

And we come home with a great advantage for next week. Chivas, get ready to feel the pressure from dozens of thousands of passionate SPFC supporters!

Rogerio go the record too... That man is cold as ice when taking PK's... Sanchez was doing all kinds of tricks at the goal and Rogerio wasn't fazed.

Remember they were suppose to feel the pressure earlier in the contest, and remember what happened. Let's not get too cocky.... I know SP won't get over confident...

Having said that, Chivas has to beat us by 2 goals at the Morumbi... It's going to be very difficult.

São Paulo has showed why the team is the current Libertadores Champion and why it is nowadays the best succeeded brazilian team in the international football tournaments.
Chivas commited a fatal error : forgot the hard games that had against the brazilians and changed its posture, believing they could win us easily.
Mexican newspapers joked and the previous headlines shouted "los clientes llegarón para pierder novamente" and other underestimating ones.
They woke up the sleepy bear and behave like Brazil in Germany, thinking they could win whenever they wanted.
Muricy Ramalho is already warning his players that every team deserves
RESPECT, and in the Libertadores you should play seriously !

I agree with almost every word. But I disagree with your timing. I believe SP will win it, but there's still a secong leg. :)

    ..........

    Libertad 0 x 0 Inter

    Interesting game.

It seems we can have an all Brazilian final again.

i heard the game on the radio. i think could hurt themselves by not getting the away goal. they probably deserved the win...maybe 1-0 or something.

at least they are playing at home in the 2nd leg. libertad isnt an amazing team...and inter didnt have tinga or elder granja today.

It's so fing funny that BOTH of the fing foreigners from the BRASILEIRO clubs got carded, however no one knows why Rotten Renteria got carded, maybe he cussed out at the referee.

ROTTEN RENTERIA SHOULD BE SUSPENDED, THEN :D :D :D !!!
