When's the match? Im asking, because Lucio might still be injured for the next two weeks. How 'bout calling Naldo up instead? :D

someone knows why Gomes is not on the list? he played all Dunga matches (except Kuwait game)..further I can't understand the choice of Carlinhos he is number 2 at Santos after Kleber..and where the **** is Amauri ..he is in great form(can't say that about Sobis & R.Oliveira)

Re: Dunga announce squad for Switserland game

i have no idea what dunga is smoking. why the hell is ricardo oliveira called up? the guy has talent obviously, but he's basically in the same boat as ronaldo and adriano--a guy getting called up because of his name. he hasnt done shit this season for milan.

i also cant believe adriano and maicon are still on this team. that boggles my mind. adriano had a horrendous game against ecuador...and maicon has never played well for us. when will we see maxwell or fabio aurelio?

and why the hell is dudu cearense still on this team? this guy also has no future for brazil either. i dont get why dunga doesnt start looking long and hard at the palermo brazilians. fabio simplicio is probably one of the best volantes in Italy...and of course, there is Amauri, who has shown he is a capable forward. Daniel Carvalho isnt a forward so I dont know why he is listed as one...and I hope Dunga doesnt use him as one.

i dont understand why vagner love was dropped. he should still be around as opposed to oliveira. lucas was likely dropped because gremio is still battling for a libertadores spot. and dunga already knows of marcelo's talent so he's checking out carlinhos at left back now too...another youngster.

but im still disappointed we havent seen at the very least, fabio simplicio and naldo on this team. simplicio, i'd say, is the most deserving player who was ommitted...a guy who has played consistantly well for his team in the past 2 or 3 years. he isnt a flash in a pan. there isnt that much room for naldo unfortunately, but i still want him to have a chance.

and finally, we see the return of diego. that's great.

carlinhos was called up because he will be an olympic player and dunga wants to try him out, even if he is a reserve. carlinhos and marcelo will likely be our left backs of the future.

also, santos is battling for the title...still, and calling up a reserve won't damage their chances. this is why we didnt see lucas called up...or any Sao Paulo players either.

and i dont understand why amauri wasnt called up...or simplicio for that matter, who you could say is more deserving than edmilson.

Just watch Naldo setting up the 2nd goal against Mainz 05 last weekend and scoring the 5th himself (after a fine cross by Diego). This guy needs to be called up. :D

I hadn't heard of Amauri until very recently. What's his story ? I understand he came from Chievo Verona. How long has he been playing this well ? I saw his goals this weekend and they were pretty nice.

    Reginaldo

what do you guys think of Reginaldo from Fiorentina ?

Amauri not being called is very interesting. We will see what happens now on the Italian front. I'm sure Donadoni will approach him, but I think Amauri is confident in his ability so he will decline and stick it out for the games in the New Year to try to get Dunga's attention then.

Not true. He is a young, promissing leftback for Santos, but he doesn't start for them. I don't think he has made any first team appearences either. Other than that, I just know he is from Bahia (state, not club)...

I believe Flu asked for his exlcusion - they are fighting relegation (a dangerous precedent set by Dunga if true).

Good to see diego and daniel alves in the squad but why drop wagner love?? and I don't think it's the proper time to call up Ricardo Oliveira because didn't they kidnap his mom?? and if so i think he's more worried about that.

Not just that, but Ricardo Oliveira is really just not in form right now, and Love has been in form for CSKA. I dont get the russian league but I have been watching his Champions League matches and he has really been excellent up front. Daniel Carvalho isnt a forward so i dont know why he is in that group. Excited to hear the possibility of Kaka and Ronaldinho playing together. Hopefully , if they do, things will start clicking now.

Oh yea, Rafeal Sobis is still on the squad? I dont understand why. I havent seen so much of Betis play but when I have gotten the chance he hasnt been that effective. Yes Betis is struggling but even with that good players do stand out. For instance when Betis was somewhat struggling I believe last year, Oliveria still stood out. Im not seeing that with Sobis with he matches I have caught. I know there are other forwards out there, but oh well. Dunga has done well so far with the team with winning possesion back in the midfield. We just need to get the right combo with the back 4 and the Creative midfielders(Kaka, Ronaldinho, Diego, etc.....), and things should be rolling.
