Nice - Hope they play it on FSW or ESPN2 since it's a long journey from California. I wish I could go to that one. I saw Brazil play Latvia in Curitiba a few years back and it was a blast. I showed up 1 hour before the match and all the seats were filled so I had to sit in an isle. All the top players played, but I don't remember the exact date of it. It was at Atletico Para's brand new stadium. Brazil is certainly worth seeing in a live match.

not for the moment You can forget Brazil x Italy. In the FIFA match day of August 18th Brazil will play against Haiti in the Caribbean country. The game is being schedulled for humanitary reasons, since Brazil is taking a leading role in the rebuilding of the country. Well, it's not like the Brazil x Italy game has attracted much interest here, is it?
Italy is already scheduled to play Iceland in Reykjavik that day, but I assume they could buy their way out of it if this proved to be more lucrative (as is likely). Money makes many things possible.
I doubt Italy would agree to play Brazil for new coach Marcello Lippi's first game. Iceland seems more likely.
