    I agree that we'll have to agree to disagree. I trust my fellow posters* not to Genk up the works, but should that happen, @bungadiri can use his magical powers of moderation to repair a poorly-worded thread title.

    * I'm the one I don't trust.

    It didn’t sound like he had a poor debut. My guess is he’s not ready to go 90min just a few days later yet.

    We’ll likely know based on next game’s lineup.

    He came on in the ‘68 up 3-0. Genk Gabe up 2 goals after his inclusion but hung on for win. Was he at fault?

    Doesn't look like McKenzie was involved with either. Apparently the second goal they gave up was from a penalty kick due to a Carlos Cuesta hand ball. Yeah the guy that keeps getting red carded without any consequences.

    Tres bizarre. Is he related to the head of the Belgian Pro-League or something?

    I watched the game (as best I could on a crappy stream). His performance seemed to match his stats. He looked good defensively, steady and clam as always. Had a nice play late in the game where he tracked a runner into the box and was able to smother a shot attempt that the GK then collected.

    Though shortly after that he whiffed on a half open header from a free kick that coulda won the game.

    Passing however was very conservative, and 1/5 long balls tells the story there. I'm sure it's a combination of adjusting to the team and getting used to his teammates, but he definitely is not pinging long balls around like he can. Yet.

    Looks like he was an unused sub as Genk lost.

    I remember hearing when he was transferred that one of Genks starting Columbian CBs was expected to be transferred this window. I guess that didn't happen? Still, being a rotation option with some spot starts is a good way to get acclimated to Europe.

    Very smart; ESPN has been good about grabbing lesser valued competitions and airing them ASAP. None of this "we'll get it now and show it starting next season" stuff; "we'll get it now and show it now". In Belgium we have McKenzie, Miazga, EPB, and Aaronson. Any others? Belgium is the new Scandinavia for yanks :)

    EPB and Aaronson are in Austria.

    Genk’s game was postponed today due to a frozen pitch.

    Two penalties, one committed by Cuesta who was subbed out before the half. Not sure if he was close to getting a red or injury.

    Unsure if Mark was at fault for the other penalty.
