Yup, I am happy to admit when I was wrong. I am glad that McKenzie was there. European competition starts this week. Lots of matches upcoming. It was good to see Genk get the win.

That was a harder and better goal than I expected from the descriptions. That's a great header.

Not at fault for the first Fiorentina goal, nor the second. He was also involved in the 1st Genk goal, and almost scored one in the first half. He was channeling his inner youth striker vibes.

He has been pretty impressive on set pieces this calendar year. Dude has serious hops. Really has come into his own after initially struggling to get into the starting 11. He and Richards have the makings of a very athletic and strong CB duo.

From the last replay angle it looks like he was lucky to not get called for a foul. Nevertheless, that's a top notch, powerful header! He's a real danger on set pieces.

I would assume McKenzie starts. This the local Linberger Derby and is a great chance for Genk to climb the table again.

Does not start, nor is he on the bench. Interesting.

Genk has given up a hat trick in just 6 min from the 32' to the 38'. McKenzie is really missed today.

Totally different team the 2nd half. Genk has now tied the score 3-3.

    McKenzie absent!?! What gives?

Genk (T-7th) visiting Club Brugge (T-3rd), both teams with a game in hand, and with the standings so tight this early in the season, Genk would leap (past Club Brugge) into a tie for second with a win today.

His toe injury must be worse than thought. This is a pretty important league match. It will also be on ESPN+.

Brugge - Genk - match ended in a draw 1-1.

    Genk vs Westerlo
    10:00
Will not be on ESPN +

Normally I would think that this would be a start for McKenzie, but with him not playing the last two, who knows. Westerlo is much weaker than Genk, but Genk needs the three points here. Who knows.
