    hey guys-

so i was up waaaay late last night, watching tv, and was on WTSN (the only channel in the world dedicated to women's sports 24-7) and they have this 30 min. show called "sports woman" (or was it women....), and i believe it's british made (cause the chick has a brit accent), and it's a 30 min 'gilette world sports' type show that features profiles on women athletes around the world as well as highlights from various competitions.

i really enjoy this show, and i make it a point to tune in when they air on saturday, but i caught the rerun late late at night, and was happily surprised to see their weekly feature was on the brasilian trio from the 'rays...

the footage was shot in ft. lauderdale before the season when they had the "all-star' match, and they interviewed sissi, katia and pretinha pretty indepth. (all in portugese with an english voice over)...they showed footage of them fro that weekend, as well as just following them around and they talked about how happy they are playing in SJ, and the difference between soccer in brasil and USA. mainly about the lack infrastructure in brasil compared to the US...then they talked about playing for the national team. sissi said wwc99 was her best moment w/brasil, and showed highlights from that...

it was a really good piece on them, and i'm glad they are exposing them to the rest of the world.
