Fabiano Santacroce who was born in Brazil (to an Italian father and Brazilian mother) was called up for Italy's last WCQ matches.

Too bad we won't get to see Santacroce wearing the canarinha in the future. And he is a friggin 'baiano' for f*ck's sake. And what's the deal with Luis Gustavo and Thiago Alcantara of Barcelona??? This is getting ridiculous! As if Deco, Pepe, Senna and Eduardo wasn't enough! We should start charging other nations for our players.

Now everytime a brazilian player has a son that decides to take on football like his dad, we'll have to pray for him to be born in Brazil. And with 1000 players going abroad every year, it's less likely by the day that the sons of our players will have the privilege to wear the blue and yellow.

Santacroce got cap tied to Italy on 8/24/07 since he played for Italy's U21 team.

Dunga could have called him before 8/24/07 ....but I doubt he would have accepted the invite since he grew up in Italy...

One of these days one of these players will score a goal that will eliminate us from a tournament and we well all be really pissed ! Deco already scored a winning goal in a friendly against us ... it's only a matter of time.

the new FIFA changes that helped out the african nations (who "lost" their youth players to the netherlands and france) will most likely be to your detriment. lots of U21/23 guys were called up and never were called up again -- pretty sure we'll see these random guys like fernandinho playing in ukraine etc. switching sides in the future.

If it were me, i'd rather not play in international matches than to wear anything else except the camisa amarela

It is a privilege to wear our camisa; they should never forget that~

so motta now says he wouldn't mind playing for italy. wtf. italy jacking our players? amauri, taddei, now potentially motta.

although im pretty sure that motta cannot play for italy since he played for brazil in the 2003 gold cup. i know we called up a U23 team, but hey, that still is a senior international fifa tournament.

dunga should consider motta, honestly. i mean it all depends on this season, but if he plays well, i would prefer him to a guy like gilberto silva in the defensive volante position. i dont think he can play in the ramires volante position.

Lippi and Dunga are stubborn coaches. I hope both don't call this clown.

I'm at a stage where I feel comfortable enough with Adriano on and off the field that I could careless about Amauri.

He is great for our team Juventus. :) Not much of a waste since he is not the youngest player and Brazil has better strikers anyways.

Liédson got called up by Portugal. He's a good striker, but not good enough for the Seleção brasileira. Good luck to him, though. He was a player I've always liked.

What kept him from being called was playing Portugal. He should of moved on. Hopefully Hulk will bounce to a more appreciated league by brazilian coaches.
