dunga is retarded if he doesnt call amauri up. i mean pepe i understand because of our depth at zagueiro... but forward? i mean it's basically fabiano, robinho, and pato. ugh. palermo is a good team too. i just don't get it.

Add R. Oliveria but I agree Amauri should be called up. We have already lost pepe and deco two quality players.

Cristiano Preigchadt Cordeiro, former Inter defender, started playing for Hong Kong in 2006. Casemiro Mior, who later coached Ateletico Paranaense, brought him to Hong Kong in 1998.

Marco "Mehmet" Aurielo plays for Turkiye :)

He played for Trabzon, then Fenerbahce. Alex kept on trying to get him called for Brazil, but obviously never got his chance. He will probably start in the Euros. Valencia are rumoured to go after him in summer.

Marcio Nobre and Wederson also have Turkish citizenship, but both probably will never play for Turkiye.

Although I don't understand why Dunga doesn't call up Amauri... it's not like wagner love or the other options are better than him... I hope Donadoni refrains from calling him up.

It's not really needed, we have better options now for that kind of striker (ie Toni) and better options coming.

One thing is calling people who has italian citizenship for other motives than just playing soccer in italy (mostly italian heritage) another one is picking a player only because the motherland inexplicably ignores him.

Brazil instead is lacking that kind of striker. Pato is great but he is not a target man. And an excellent target man is what Brazil needs the most in order to let all the fantasistas (ronaldinho, kaka, robinho) or, gifted second strikers like Pato, perform at best.

Really, what's up with Dunga? What is he waiting for? He should be tactically aware of that.

p.s. also Rodrigo Taddei and Amantino Mancini both deserve more consideration.

Don't forget Marcelo Moreno who actually played for Brazil at U20 level (now for Bolivia). He is a star for the future.

amauri has public announced his intention to play for italy. kind of irritated. but whatever. he would probably not be more than a 6th forward for us.

i actually think he will have a very good season for juve too.

PLEASE call him up. I don't want him on the Nazionale italiana. Lippi may want him, but I think he's a mercenary.

sorry it is completely out of our hands

Dunga won't call any player that has basically no world wide recognition or doesn't play in eastern Europe.

I think that you (and more importantly dunga) are underestimating amauri a lot. IMHO he's the best option you have for CF at the moment. He has matured a lot since starting his pro career in italy.
