What do u guys think of this.. http://www.paddocktalk.com/news/htm...=article&sid=75898&newlang=&topic=34&catid=58 any thoughts on this all star retiring ? any plans to make tribute video for him?
Brandon Moss was a team MVP for New Mexico when they went to the 2005 College Cup final, a 1-0 loss to Maryland. Marc Burch got the winning goal and Chris Seitz was in goal as freshman for Maryland. Andrew Boyens anchored the Lobo's back line. He played defensive midfielder his senior year at New Mexico and his rookie season for the Crew.
So a player being forced to retire due to injury before his career even really got started is funny to you? Wow...just...wow.
Tell you what, how about we do a Josh Gros tribute video first? It is of course sad to see such misfortune claim a career, but 1) he wasn't an MLS All-Star that DC United fans should be taking notice of him, and 2) it isn't that uncommon an injury or uncommonly tragic that this happened- soccer is a bit demanding on the knees. A knee injury is not a career-ender per se anymore, folks come back from it all the time now. Sh?t happens to all of us, you know. To not cry about it when it happens to someone we don't know at all is not to demean its absolute meaning, just its meaning to us.
Umm...what does you being a DC fan have to do with anything? This isn't the DC forum. This "armani" person isn't a Crew fan. He just posted this article in an apparent bid to make a joke which I found lame and tasteless and it seems to have gone completely over your head.
i wasnt making fun of anyone, i put a smiley face because i didnt know who he was, but only read bout him so blah! Let me rephrase Brandon Moss retires.
