    According to Shawn Mitchell's blog:
    Covering the Crew

Unfortunate for him, but quite frankly, he wasn't going to see any significant time behind all of our other midfielders. He wasn't going to jump ahaead of Oughton, Carroll, or Miglioranzi.

edit: sorry, MFRONE beat me to it

Thanks for stepping right in and getting the job done in '06.

    How is the knee?

What Cleazer said may or may not be true but I would have like to have seen you make one more run for their money.

    Good luck to ya!

Sad to see. We certainly could have used some depth at RB or at CB. Showed some promise early. But probably out of the picture as a middie.

It's sad to see someone's career end at age 23. I hope his knee is all right and wish him the best with the coaching gig.

This was probably driven by the low, non-living wage salaries that developmental players get. The salaries are tolerable for a year after college when a player has several roommates. Not so much when he's married and his wife is finishing school.

It's unfortunate Moss was forced into early retirement...he was a dependable defensive player that could have seen a decent amount of PT

Good luck to whatever you go on to Brandon

You always want to see someone leave the game on their own terms, rather than because of something beyond their control.

    Good luck to Brandon.

In the "real" world, people who are injured on the job get worker's compensation. If the league's insurance is paying him anything, it's probably based on his 11K dp salary.

    I often wonder about this.

The one advantage is the free medical care they get though. It's a crappy wage but they typically don't see a single medical bill.
