Kicker has Bradley listed among the subs for Borussia Moenchengladbach's away game to Wolfsburg. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...u_vfl-wolfsburg-24_borussia-mgladbach-15.html Kickoff is at 9:30 AM ET.
Soccernet has Bradley starting, hopefully they are right. http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/gamecast?id=273043&league=GER.1&cc=5901 Link on atdhe
MB gets the start. Bradley wins the ball in midfield, dashes down field and gets a pass back on a counter. MB crosses it low to his teammate but he cannot connect. Very lively start. Wolfsburg already nailed the crossbar on the attack.
According to Kicker he's starting in a 4-2-2-2: Bailly - Levels, Brouwers, Dante, Daems - Bradley, T. Marx - Matmour, Reus - Colautti, Bobadilla
Wow, Obafemi Martins was wide open in the box and he tried a cheeky backheel and managed to block it with his other foot.
Bradley nips in front of a sleeping Wolfsburg player to steal the ball and put in a great cross, but his teammate mishits the volley. He probably had more time than he realized.
Whoops, was typing something and missed a Wolfsburg goal right before HT. Looks like maybe Dante screwed up and allowed a free header off a corner. 1-0 HT. Before that Bradley won the ball and broke downfield but didn't have much support and had it tackled away, and fouled the tackler trying to get it back.
I'd say Bradley had a pretty good half. He was active defensively and his passing was good bar one attempt. Wolfsburg had a lot of possession as you would expect, but BMG wasn't overwhelmed.
Bradley has not been so good so far in the second half. Three of four of his passes have gone straight to the other team. He's been playing as basically a backline shield, and seems to have very little freedom to surge forward. It really doesn't take advantage of his workrate, which is of course one of his strengths.
A comedy of errors - first the collision and then missing the open goal. BMG blew a huge chance to level it there.
Yeah that was a bad back heel attempt by Bobadilla. Didn't even look at the goal. Maybe he thought someone would be cutting in to score it? Either way it was just real bad .
Bradley tries to work a give and go with another attacker, but his touch is off. EDIT: BMG defense leaves Bailly out to dry on a nice strike by Gentner.
