The MLS is always trying to take care of its underachieving stepson the Metros. Hopefully this will not translate into Cups either. One has to feel sorry for the Fire fans.
I'd like to but I can't seem to summon up any sympathy for anyone but United. We've been getting the royal hose treatment since we won our first Cup. At the same time the Metropukes have been getting fed steak while we eat crap. I'm not saying all of our misfortune is due to the league and allocations, but there have been some questionable moves made to insure a winner in NY.
That's horrible news for Fire fans. I don't begrudge Bradley wanting to go home, especially when he was passed over for the same job and it was widely known that this was the job he wanted. And MLS needs a stronger and more stable NY presence. But it still sucks. Don't worry Fire fans, we'll do our best to make sure that the Metros lose at least 4 games next season. -Tron
I predict that in 11 months that the team in New Jersey will be just as broken as usual and all the literary geniuses will be equating Bradley with Mondelo. Cheers, Tim
