Bradley had a bad giveaway where he mis-controlled an easy pass, Roma recover the ball in their own box and break quickly the other way and Osvaldo puts them up 1-0. As I was typing that, Lamela scores on a nice volley from a dinked pass from Totti. 2-0
Thanks for the PbP, guys, from those of us who might be watching the relegation special from England...
Bradley intercepts a slow pass out of the Siena backline and attacks straight ahead. He lays it off to Osvaldo who doesn't know what to do as he doesn't have a target, as Bradley either falls over or is tripped.
Bradley getting more involved as the half goes on. According to the English announcer he's "bossing the midfield", for whatever that's worth.
Impressive work by Florenzi to keep a ball in near his opponent's goal, and he turns and passes to Osvaldo who fires a low shot in. 3-0 Roma.
Bradley is doing a nice job putting pressure on and forcing mistakes or winning the ball back. This has been a pretty comfortable performance for Roma so far.
He is . . I saw them play Orlando City over the holidays. He scored two early goals and I was trying to figure out who he was. He is like an old school assassin who gets the knife in you before you even realize it is coming. Very deadly.
Bradley doesn't even look like he's breaking a sweat today. I'd be shocked if he doesn't have 100% pass success today.
Totti shot saved, the rebound is put in from a tight angle by Osvaldo. 4-0. It's a shame Totti couldn't score himself, as Bradley would have gotten an assist.
I don't think he was expecting the ball to get kicked directly to him about 20 odd yards from goal. As is, I think he was right in putting it towards Perrotta and co, shame they couldn't finish it.
Very nice pass to Perotta towards the end, would've been a spectacular goal. 4-0 FT whoscored.com had Bradley with 90 touches, 97% passing and 5 tackles. http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/651831/Live
Yeah I thought it was pretty nice, but my stream was so bad that I couldn't really see it. And yes, 4-0 to the good guys, Roma as a whole were pretty great today from the limited time I had left to watch when I tuned in.
They are up to 5th, but now have the toughest part of the schedule to finish the season- Fiorentina (A) , Chievo (H), Milan (A), Napoli (H) - the 3 teams just ahead of them in the table and Bradley's former team. Once they're done with those games, the focus is on Lazio in the final.
Another great game for him. I see no reason why De Rossi should start ahead of him for the rest of the season. He has definitely learned how to simplify things the last 3-4 months. Before he would over think his passes and runs, but now he looks very comfortable with the ball at his feet.
