Bradley is starting. Roma look the brighter team in possession. There is nothing notable about Bradley's play thus far, other than Liverpool is much better than the Polish team he played earlier.
Specifically, Bradley is being challenged strongly by Shelvey and Aquilani. He looks a bit lost and is not really involved. Had one lead ball that was over hit but it was a good look.
I honestly think Bradley looks fairly solid and is doing a good job of moving forward. Not very involved, but he's making runs and Roma's best forward moves have come when Bradley moves up the field. I do think you see the positives and negatives of the 3 young midfielders Roma has playing today but they all look talented. On another note, Roma needs to upgrade that back 4.
Halftime Michael Bradley has been making well timed runs into the box. Just can't get picked out. Overall average half for him.
Good connecting play involving Bradley, as he plays a deft back heel under pressure to move the ball fluidly. Indications that he is beginning to understand the Roma style.
Anyone watching can admit that Shelvey deserves to score. So many chances and one of the standout midfielders from both teams. Also sporting a bald head.
It's ok, he knew you had forgotten him so he scored just to make sure you were paying attention and not counting him out.
