Mikey hurt, just getting a rest? No surprise that Palermo have scored so easily without Mikey in there.

In the Gazzetta matchtracker they state: "Vacek preferred to Bradley."

Perhaps they're worried that all the recent transfer talk about him would affect his game? I don't know...

And Chievo come roaring back with two goals: first a penalty from Pellissier and then a second from Uribe.

    Palermo 2-2 Chievo

Preparing for life without him, perhaps?

Miccoli scores in the 74th minute to complete his hat-trick. Chievo make their 2nd substitution, taking off Vacek for Paloschi. Still no Bradley.

    Palermo 3-4 Chievo

Silvestre hits an 89th-minute equalizer for Palermo. 5 minutes of injury time added.

    Palermo 4-4 Chievo

Thanks for the PBP - interesting that Bradley sits and this one becomes a shootout.

The final whistle is blown and Bradley remains an unused sub.

    Palermo 4-4 Chievo

Wow. When was the last time Chievo scored 4 (or gave up 4)? That's just crazy.

This seems like one of the only reasonable explanations for his benching today.

well Lecce better be thanking their lucky stars because it made their relegation escape chances slightly more of a possibility.

Bradley got subbed out of the Roma game early as well. Seemed like an odd sub, but the weather conditions made it seem like an injury prevention type of substitution.

Yeah, sounds like there's a done deal already?
