The Braves, undefeated a couple of weeks ago, are in a freefall. They lost to Creighton 2-1 Sunday and have now lost 3 straight and are winless in their last 5. http://www.bubraves.com/press/200210272.html Meanwhile, Creighton, is 9-1-1 in its last 11 and has won 6 straight. They are 6-0-1 in the Missouri Valley and they play SMU, which is also 6-0-1 in the conference, Sunday in Omaha for what will likely (if both teams win Friday against lesser conference foes) decide the MVC regular season champ. SMU is even hotter than Creighton. After starting 1-1-1, they are 12-0-1 since. After making the Final Four in 2000, the Mustangs have only lost 2 games the past 2 seasons, 1 of which came in the NCAA quarterfinals last season.
At least Bradley scored today. Things have turned 180 degrees the last few weeks. If the Braves flame out in the MVC tourney, do they get invited to the big dance?
bu braves i attend bradley university & i was at all of their home games this season & all i have to say is "what the hell happened?" im extremely dissapointed intheir performance, or lack their of, recently. but i am still a braves fan & hope they will get their stuff together to take it all the way i nthe ncaa... actually all the home games they lost were this kids fault who lives on my floor, ever game he atteneded we lost. im making sure he never watches a game again
