ESPN lists Mike as a striker ... hehehe ... he better score now.

It's halftime and Heerenveen has scored two more times. I'd call it a rout. All that's left is for Bradley to score.

Looks like Bradley entered the match in the 74th minute for his season debut!

I just read an article in www.topdrawersoccer.com that said Rogers is still waiting for his work permit and then is expeceted to paly with the second team for a while.

I understand the final score today was 5-0. Looks like Heerenveen off to a great start.

    Well, then we're screwed.

Talpa never works for me. All I see is ad loops.

I saw on Heereveen's website www.sc-heereveen.nl that the team played a friendly Wednesday. Any word on whether Rogers or Bradely played and how they did.

So the game was like an extended work-out kind of a deal?

Looks like the Heerenveen selection will go "fierljeppen" today. That's going to be quite a culture shock for Bradley and Rogers....

    :D

I guess Young Heerenveen won 4-0. Rogers played up front for the last 30 minutes or so.

Young-Heerenveen won 1-4. Bradley scored the fourth, he was also fouled in the penalty area for the third goal. According to the Heerenveen site Rogers played the last 10 minutes.

You know what would really suck? If one of those players got hurt doing that pole vault into the drink. :D

I managed to capture a small video of the event, they're talking to Bradley very briefly after his jump.

Eh, Zidane didn't head-butt a Pole, he heat-butted an Italian.
