ok, so i cant be at both places, since the matches are on back to back days. if you had a choice to be in Cape Town for Netherlands - Cameroon or in Duban for Brazil - Portugal, which one would you choose? I think that Brazil - Portugal sounds better on paper, but i wonder if the game might be too tight. I see the Netherlands - Cameroon match being played open. what do you think?

    Brazil-Portugal, without a doubt.

Well, you're likely to get a pretty solid match no matter which way you go. Normally, I'd say "go with the match from the tougher group," thinking you might get to see the teams in the weaker group later. But both groups E and G strike me as pretty similar (3 teams that could advance and win a second round match, 1 team that couldn't).

That being the case, I'd go with the match you think might be more open.

    Or flip a coin. :D

I would have to say that it is more likely that the Brasil - Portugal game will not be important for the group, while the likeliness for the Cameroon - Holland being a key game for at least one of the teams is very high.

Well Brazil - Portugal could still be important, because even when both are already qualified they still want to win the group to avoid Spain.
But you're right, that probably Cameroon won't qualify without a win at the last matchday, while the Netherlands probably need a win/draw to secure the first place.

lol Using that criteria, Brasil-Portugal would win. Another pro for the Portuguese-derby is you get to see more talented players.

OTOH, as mentioned the NED-CAM game is likely to be more important. Cape Town is probably the nicer city with tonnes of things to do and see and I wouldn't toss away the opportunity to see a sub-Saharan African team play in sub-Sahara Africa. Plus the Dutch travelling supporters are always a fun bunch (aren't there a lot of Dutch people living in Cape Town? )

    Overall, I'd choose the Netherlands-Cameroon.

oh my bad. well this explains why its so hard to choose...! :D
and dutch fans are pretty fun! i think it might boil down to whatever is cheaper for you....hotel/airfare wise. or if $ is not so much an issue. Coin flip.

If you haven't actually got any brazil tickets then stick with Holland. Chances are brazil - portugal will be heavily over subscribed so i think that your decision will be made for you

Depends what teams you are interested in. For me personally, if those are my only options, I would take the Brazil game since I don't particularly care for either Holland or Cameroon.

But to be honest, for that date range (24th/25th) I'm shooting for the Spain-Chile match, so don't put much weight in my input. :)
