Shocking result, considering all the articles in the local Highlands Ranch papers went on about how good they are by defeating everyone else. It must have caught up to their skulls.

    Let's Go Cherry Creek!!!

Highlands Ranch, Columbine, Chatfield, all Jeffco, Douglas, new money schools can suck it!!!

Hey Team USA, I hear in honor of former players the Bruin team will be playing the entire playoff round with Chuck Taylor's!!!!!!!!! *LOL*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And they're wearing an armband for Dr. Fair!!!!!!!!

Good luck to Luis Dominguez in Mexico. Chance of a lifetime, live it up!!!! I am not sure if you would qualify to play for Chivas, but if you do please don't. Just score many goals against them dude.

Cherry Creek HS is the epitome of a new money school. All the old money in Denver goes to Kent, GW, TJ, and East.

Interesting. This kid is looking to join up with Leon's youth/reserve team in order to develop himself enough to warrant a D1 scholarship. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for the quality of Mexican football.

Also interesting that it's yet another article about a kid with professional aspirations, but no mention of the Rapids in any shape or form.

I can agree that with no mention of the Rapids in the article it is kinda lacking.

However, as for the division one scholarship I would think any university would look at this move in a very favorable light. The kid will get "world" experience, he will get playing/practice time, develop his espanol (if it already isn't there), and throw this on an his application and resume. Good move in my opinion.

    And go Cherry Creek!

Kent... sure... TJ (the old money you're referring to that would go to TJ, send their kids to Cherry Creek) & GW & East!? yeah right, take another toke...

As for the kid, you can always go back to school you can only play soccer until you're 32 (or there about) and that's IF you're good enough...

Well, I guess that settles it. My pro career is definitely not going to happen, given that I turned 32 yesterday.

    :(

I dont know what you think Old Money is you ******, but I would consider Park Hill and from 2nd and Colorado to about 18th and Colorado where there are hundreds of mansions old money. Also the area around University and Exposition. You probably think old money is the first part of highlands ranch you moron.

yeah, the old money goes to Kent, CA, TJ, GW, and East... don't know why that matters in this discussion still.

State championship games tonight... and Kent still has zero boys soccer titles. lol

Thought I would update that Columbine won, which is a shame because AA has cyclical sports teams and their boys soccer team will most likely not be good for awhile. Columbine meanwhile continues their dominance (Snore). Things would be a lot more fun here if we got some immigrants who were just SICK at soccer and some random team like West HS was really good.

Didn't AA have only 2 or 3 seniors on the squad? If so, they will be really good for at least a couple more years. They will miss the 6'6" goalie though. He was tough. Made some really great saves early in the game.

Anybody know what, if anything, Valderramma's son did this year? I believe he was playing right down the street at Northglenn.

    Joey-

The problem is that a lot of kids at AA are kids of people in the AF, which means they lose continuity. Look at their lacrosse team. Hot and cold.
