Did anyone see Jim Rome's take on the WWC coming back to the USA last night? I was channel skipping and saw a picture of Brandi Chastain an thought I would listen for a minute. I can't find the actual transcript of what he said, but one quote I do remember. "The only thing people remember about the women's world cup 99 was Brandi Chastain taking off her shirt." He had a few other comments before this quote about how it was sad for FIFA to have dumped the World Cup on the US. Personally, I think he is an idiot, and have never liked him or his shows. I think the soccer community should stay away from his soccer-hating shows.
Yawn. Why do you watch Jim Rome anyways? (That is a rhetorical question that does not need an answer.) Please take the media bashing to the Business and Media forum.
