I really should have started logging this sort of thing a while ago, but... Since I only have one spin bowler in my typical bowling lineup, I may have some interesting insight to offer into what skills, form, etc. can lead to particular bowling ratings. Therefore, I can offer from today -- My one spinner is a competent bowler, in competent form The pitch was green, the weather partly cloudy and windy The postmatch fitness level is invigorated, and the match was played on TIE My spin bowling rating was competent.
i played one spinner today as well. i played a fresh fitness, superb form, competant bowler with respectable consistency and woeful stamina on a cracked pitch with partly cloudy and humid weather and got a mediocore rating. My team played normal.
I played two spinners on a green pitch. One was respectable/competent and the other was respectable/mediocre. I was playing GFI. My spin bowling rating was strong. The respectable/mediocre conceded less runs and got more wickets than his spinning counterpart. I assume he is a higher respectable as his BT index is higher also.
It was a green pitch -- that is not helpful to spinners. Better for seamers. The one with better bowling figures has mediocre stamina. The other one is at woeful IIRC.
1 Spinner, TIE I guess the weather was partly cloudy? the pic w/ the sun peaking thru clouds Respectable rating... Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: woeful Batting: feeble Concentration: feeble Bowling: proficient Consistency: feeble Fielding: woeful he was in superb bowling form for this match.
Forgot about that. Mediocre stamina, feeble consistency, and he did not bat in the match. He was in 5th position on a standard bowling order.
Now in proficient bowling form, he again did not appear batting. Partially cloudy and humid weather, cracked pitch Invigorated team fitness level, I believe not yet updated post-match Once again, I had competent spin bowling.
