My team is heavily weighted towards batting - therefore my pitch is hard and fast to take advantage of that. However, I am heading into Div III in Australia and will need to upgrade my pitching to survive.

Given my pitch condition - should I favor seam or spin bowlers? With my limited knowledge I would say Seam but I am not certain.

    I would agree with seam.

Spinners are gonna do better on dusty and slow pitches. You may still want to have a spinner around both for variety and away matches on different surfaces.

in a few matches i played no spinners and didn't do very well. Granted I was playing really good teams, but when I had my pitch on cracked I would play 4 seamers and 1 spinner and the spinner would actually do quite well. Since my bowling is better then my batting, by a little bit, I'm changing my pitch to slow. It's gone from cracked to dusty in three days.

My best two bowlers by coincidence now are both spin. So that is also part of the reason I am looking more for Seam.
