If they hated us around the leauge before, they're really gonna hate us when they see these shots. I didn't see them posted anywhere else, but I didn't really look very hard. I was far too excited.

    Read 'em and weep...

Stadium looks great. I am sure we will get another schmuck to get on here and start spewing how we need to model our stadium to some European stadium. Well not anymore. Now we have our own model.

That looks F****ing beautiful. Congrats. And it's not even done yet.
Hate to say it , but it really does put CCs to shame. Guess they spent a bunch more on it though.
Hope Frisco comes off this good.

To be fair, this is a showcase piece. I don't think it's realistic to think that Frisco (or any potential SSS in the near future) will look like this.

That is absolutely a gorgeous stadium. As for Frisco, I think it will be an upgrade over CCS, but will not be as nice as HDNTC.

    ug..

I bet the cameraman just zoomed from far away rather than taking a shot right in front of him. He indeed looks ugly in this pic.

Or maybe the photographer was just trying to make an artwork by using the contrasting effect between a beauty and a beast.

Funny how AEG went over to Europe to look at stadia and even toured White Hart Lane - which was set-up by Juergen Klinsmann.

I remember reading somewhere that AEG decided on - or had their mind's made up - having a roof at HDNTC after the visit to White Hart Lane.

    A Galaxy fans nightmare...

Hopefully the Chargers won't think they can take over during their spring training.

I had to check the campus map today to find a building for one of my meetings. I was amazed at how many soccer fields DH has. NTC alone has five, plus the training ground. Damn I'm excited!!

(p.s. General Parking is two dollars a day)

    Re: A Galaxy fans nightmare...

First it would be training camp - which is not held in the Spring.

Second, San Diego Chargers will not play games or train in the stadium.

The Chargers have signed on to move their training camps there for the next five years.
Basically, it's to see if there is any interest in pro football in LA, which there isn't, so they can decide whether to stay in SD or move to LA

Victoria St was blessed with a roof after discussions with Jurgen Klinsman and the ground is supposed to be modeled after the Bay Arena for Leverkusen. The roof idea came after a tript to White Hart Lane.
