AMAZING thruball by David Luiz to a streaking Laca. Who somehow managed to not bag our 2nd goal.

He's had a handful of similarly great chances today and can't seem to bury one of them. Gives you a little bit of concern when there's so much talk of selling Auba and letting Laca be our #1 CF.

Damn Reiss Nelson is a lot slower than I thought.

Sokratis down with a head injury(?). He was down on the 1 yard line and could've gifted them an onside/goal. Dodged bullet.

Ozil comes off (looking gassed) for Willock. Straight swap.

    But what about Pepe??

I don't understand why Willock plays.

Sokratis does look groggy. Cue the entrance of Mustafi or Mavropanos?

Edit: Mustafi it is! Pray for him. Pray for us.

Happy to be 100% wrong about that. Right now:

    Chelsea 0-2 Soton
    Bournemouth 1-1 Arsenal

OMG. Bournemouth put the ball in the net but thankfully they were offside by a yard.

COME ON! Just one more little goal dudes. Give it to Auba. ORRRR... give it to Pepe who just came on for the last 10 mins.

Torreira coughs it up as we attack their box. Yeah, not a good game by him offensively at least.

3 minutes after Pepe's introduction, he's brought down by a thugish challenge and now we have our newest injury concern?

Not to mention we've used all 3 subs.

Edit: he's up an running again. Maybe there was a bit of embellishment on his injury.

Great breaking chance by Arsenal in the 92nd minute! Wasted by a lame shot by Joe Willock. :(

Chelsea losing but Palace with a late game winner (it seems).

So our 1 point away today is a fair result on the day, but NOT what we really should've produced.

Exactly I'm tired of Nelson while we have Pepe and Martinelli on bench.

Fair result I suppose. We needed the win but we played better overall. I felt if Pepe was at least brought on at HT we would've won. We looked so much better with him. Laca missed so many chances the last run in on goal with the pass by Luiz should've been buried. He also had a clear shot on goal in the box and he passes it to Joe Willock of all people. Lost his confidence I suppose.

I'm sorry I don't like to run down youth but Willock and Reiss Nelson have been awful. So weak on the ball, defensively a nightmare, kill any good attack, and when they shoot never really get anything on it.

1-1 draw on the South coast being the Boss first game is reasonably fair.

Lacazette chose the wrong option again.

Yeah hopefully he'll get that question in his post-match presser. Most of us fans are scratching their heads about what's going on with him. And this is now the 2nd manager who's leaving him out.

On the bright side Arsenal had more possession and shots that they had been featuring under Emery.

Pretty disappointing. Could have been a 6 point swing with Chelsea if Arsenal could win sunday, would have been right in the thick of things. But Laca decided to take a shit all over the field. Nelson and Willock just aren't it right now. I get new managers want the energetic aspect, but they just don't offer anything right now.

I was never a fan of him but this team could really use Iwobi. Iwobi with the space Ozil had today in the middle would have been nice.

Not hopeful of any points from Chelsea/Man U. If there's one thing worse than Arsenal away it's Arsenal against "Big" teams, regardless of how shit they are.

This season is a lost cause. I want to see performances improve and for us to play well in the EL.
