I have a coworker who is going to Boston and staying at the Millenium Bostonian. Can anybody give me suggestions as to what would be some good things to do?

    True dat!

Millennium? That's too high-class for me anyway.

Boston is a great city for pedestrians. Very walkable. Depends what she's looking for. Sights? Culture? Nightlife?

It's a woman and her 7th grade daughter and the woman's friend & her 7th grade daughter. Probably tourist type stuff. Not nightlife for sure.

The 7th graders would definitely enjoy Faneuil Hall. The museums are cool. Museum of Fine Arts, Gardner Museum, etc. Freedom Trail is a pretty good call, takes you through different neighborhoods. The North End is a poular destination as well.

They might like the Museum of Science, also there is Newbury Strett which has a lot of salons and shops. The NE Aquarium is cool, and it has whale watch tours.
