And New England has already been eliminated from the playoffs. itsatrap.gif Lose by two (or more!), kiddos. Bonus track.
This one worries me. We saw what happened the last time we played during an international window. We'll be missing several players (I'm assuming), and... (checks notes) New England will have -- wait, we're playing the Revs? Win by thirty.
Both teams will missing some players due to international callups. Columbus Mo Farsi - 27 MLS games played / 1,879 minutes Taha Habroune - 5 / 88 Nicholas Hagen - 3 / 235 Cucho Hernández - 26 / 2,056 Patrick Schulte - 27 / 2,430 New England Esmir Bajraktarevic - 28 / 1,902 Alhassan Yusuf - 6 / 357 Peyton Miller - 10 / 684 Xavier Arreaga - 22 / 1,847
I haven't paid much attention to New England because... well, why the hell would I. But I'm surprised to find out they have players that are good enough to get called up to anything.
Pretty sure the first player on the list is just chr1st stroking out and falling on the keyboard after too much Malort
Best guess lineup: ------------------Romero---------------- Herrera---Camacho---Amundsen Arfsten--Nagbe--Chambost--Dj Jones Matan------Ramirez------Rossi Though Cheberko or JRR would not surprise. Nor Matan in CM.
Yes, it is a relatively big loss for the USMNT. His family was a big influence in him changing. But he's officially transferred with no backsies. Obed Vargas was the other big loss. Losing an Alaskan to Mexico smh --- As for the Revs, these are relatively big misses, although porter never really used the youth. I was excited to see 17 year old Peyton Miller. He's legit at LB.
Nagbe and Rossi could certainly use a night off. I'd have them on the bench and hope we can squeak by without them coming on in the second half. Rudy could probably also use another night off but won't get it with Moreira and Zawadski out.
I expect Nagbe to get a week off. And if JRR is going to avoid the callup to Canada, you might as well start him. I'll expect Matan and Derrick as our two center mids.
The last-ever regular season game with the "Doritos jersey" and the first black jersey not to be worn at a game in HCS. Isn't that what it got nicknamed?
They say that in fact the reason they traded DeJuan was because they wanted Porter to play Miller but since, as we all know, Caleb refuses to play the kids he kept sending Jones out there. The only way they could force him to play Miller was to take Jones away from him.
Carles Gil is out for the remainder of the 2024 season with a strained hamstring.#NERevs | #MLS https://t.co/vdBPVINsDr— Caleb Pongratz (@CalebPongratz10) October 10, 2024 No gil, well there will be Nacho Gil
If our keeper can avoid getting a red card again, that is. Hell, dress Evan and tell him that we will only need him under extreme circumstances, I'm sure after seeing that game, he will understand, he probably was watching and was like "dammit I can't do anything to help right now"
"Saturday night only, STMs will receive double their discount at the Crew Team Shop! Show your Membership ID card in your Crew Account to receive 20% off at the match." Coin is playing at Kemba Live too.
They may want to play but they could use a bye week. The match vs NYRB will be more competitive, let's let them rest if possible. If we're still trying to catch LAG for MLS Cup homefield reasons, then have them come on around minute 60 if we're not leading then.
Is this an admission that they were wrong or does it mean MLS bends the rules to favor certain teams?
