Oh yeah, I don’t mean that’s the crazy part.

But we were this close to Kepa starting in a CL final for us if Tibo hadn’t recovered!!

What?, where is the evidence that this team has ever underestimated an opponent, especially in a final, what makes you think that professionals would approach a game of this magnitude like some fans do.

Dortmund coach said they will end RM's run of 8 CL finals win. I don't think we will underestimate any team in a CL final. And opposition making such statements should be extra motivation.

Hummels and Maatsen both snubbed by their national team coaches. Reus’ last game at BVB. These ********ers better not play the game of their lives

Jude's first CL and chance at Ballon d'Or

Vini's second CL and chance at Ballon d'Or

Kroos' last chance at CL....and chance at Ballon d'Or (depending on what Germany does at Euros"

Cama's first as a starter in a CL final...biggest game of his life

    Possibly Modric's last CL

Probably Nacho's last CL....chance to lift the trophy as Captain

Rodrygo's first start in a CL final....chance to amplify his profile

Rudiger's first major final with Real Madrid....

Courtois....first meaningful match for a year......and what a match to be back

Brahim....first time anywhere near this level....

    Joselu......absolute dream moment....

Fede....doesn't need any extra push ....always ready to go! lol.

    We have PLENTY of motivation

    We won't underestimate Dortmund.

We want the 15th at all cost.....

We know how hard it is to get here.

Why are Madrid fans still pushing the Jude Bellingham for Balon d' Or when Bellingham himself has backed Vinicius. \

    https://www.soccernews.com/bellingh...in-the-world-vinicius-for-ballon-d-or/372096/

Only thing left to sabatoge Vinnies chances is for Mbappe to come in not having won a single trophy with the club and completely overshadow our guy by stealing all the headlines in the aftermath of the CL final.

The only thing that worries me Is that we usually struggle against strong physical teams who dont have an elite set of players but they aré allá above average (atletico de Madrid style).

As much as I wouldnt be baffled If we aré winning 3-0 by the 30th, I Also wouldnt be baffled If we where down 2 goals with 10 min to go AND 120 shots on target.

Has anyone seen this BVB team play ? What's their style ? Are they following gegenpressing still ? Who are the players to watch out for ( I was watching their road to final and couldn't recognise more than half the players )? What are the possible dangers ? How good are they are defense ?

Very good points, I agree with all of this.

I hope we're preparing ourselves for a very physical encounter, and I also wouldn't be surprised if we concede first.

Really mad I’m not traveling to this one but Copa kinda got in the way

But how cool is it being a Madrid fan that one can say with confidence, we will be there again so next time!

Even better Real sides struggled against Dortmund. Real is a big favorite and I don't like this because we will have to attack a lot and break the bunker. Kroos once said that the players prefer to sit deep and play on the counter attack. That's why I would be more confident if we played big sides like Liverpool, PSG or Bayern.

Question is, have you ever been confident when it comes to Madrid?
If memory serves me well, you have picked against us every time

For me, it’s going to come down to matchups.

    1. Rudiger can handle Fulkrug, the question is do you trust nacho enough to read the game and pick up the spare runs - especially on the break or let nacho mark out Fulkrug and let Rudiger clean up?

    2. Dani will need a Fede backtrack usual to help with Sancho. I think that can be solved. If Sancho switches to the left, Mendy has to be smart.

    3. Jude is the variable here. Does he expend energy early to make runs into the box? He should be fully rested and fit but it’s a long 90 min to play that way. He’s going to have to lead.

    4. Vinny and Rodrygo have to be clinical in the box. We’re going to get chances but they have to not over cook and try to get fancy. Shots on goal, scrappy rebound goals count just the same as worldies.

    5. this is the big one. Camavinga- he can’t pick up a silly yellow early and he’s got to cover for Kroos on the transitions. Not turn the ball over in dangerous areas, progress it and release to Vinny, Rodrygo and Jude.

I think they include everyone as a symbol of team unity. They have done that in the past.

I'd be surprised if he gets a minute of play barring emergencies.

Edit: so is Alaba, so meh.

Donkey Rodrygo also gave GQ an interview saying Manchester City are the best team in Europe and they play the best football in the sport.

Obviously not as flagrant but i found it incredibly odd.

Apparently, Pep is a massive fan of Rodrygo and I've read multiple report over the last year that he would love to bring him to City.
But even if those stories are a load of BS, Rodrygo does have a habit of saying controversial things during interviews.

Don't know what he was thinking especially in terms of the timing.....very bad move.

If he's angling for something, this is not the way at Real Madrid.

Instead of all this unnecessary drama, score a couple of goals on Saturday and lift the trophy....that is much more likely to get him what he's looking for than this crap.
