OH MY GOODNESS!! I wish that this famous derby would be televised in the USA, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Schalke 04 is obviously the better side right now. On the other hand in passionate derbies like this, anything is possible. My thoughts are Schalke 04 comes out early and gets a 2-0 lead, but Borussia Dortmund battles back with it ending in a 2-2 draw.

There is a very good chance that FSW will carry it on Saturday. This is the derby in Germany, and nothing can equal it's excitement.

Also consider that Schiesse ... err... Schalke are second from top. (actually, I don't naturally hate Schalke, but since I've jumped on the Dortmund fanship, I need to call them Schiesse! ;) )

Anyway, this game is a very attractive one for a network to show.

Unfortunately this match has been rescheduled to Sunday evening 5.30pm CET. That is also the reason why I can't attend. :-(

Anyways, we need these 3 points badly and much more important.....WE HAVE TO BEAT THE SH1TE OUT OF THE SCUM. Has been so long since our last victory against that Gelsenkirchen suburban club.

Two lousy teams but have great fans. The intensity is unmatched in the Bundesliga, wish I could witness it.

I can't wait. I'll be in the Sudtribune.

Keith's Response: I normally can't say good things about FC Scheisse 04 either, but fact is fact. They are the hottest team in the Bundesliga right now and should kick our a$$es on Sunday.

    But you never know.......

    * referring to the biggest, nastiest Bundesliga scandal ever. Back in the 70/71 season several matches between teams battling against relegation and top teams at the end of the season ended with astonishing results. After Offenbach's president delivered evidence that some matches were fixed before kick-off and many players were bribed, among them were several Schlacke players, DFB took command and at the end some of the Gelsenkirchen players confirmed by oath that they haven't received any money. Later they were convictable of bribery and of false oath (Meineid). That is why S05 is today also called FC Meineid, referring to Bundesliga's biggest scandal.

More stuff to add some pepper:

-> Referring to a nice BVB chant:

    "Wir wollen keine blauen-weissen Parasiten,
    schwarz-gelb ist der Ruhrpott,
    raus mit diesem Pack!"

    "We don't want blue-white parasites,
    yellow-black is the 'Ruhr pot',
    out with the scum"

-> Away match in Gelsenkirchen in 02/03. Guest section.

    "A feeling deeper than hate"
