Yes- tonight at the Steve Nash Charity Event, The Borough Boys were there.

Thanks to Board Member TOMMYMCB (Left) for getting in there to introduce himself to Mr. Garber and present both him and Sunil Gulati, President of the USSF (present) with scarves.

Afterwords, Mr. Garber was able to come out and shake hands with all of us and take this photo (I'm right on the left of Garber in the pic, blue t shirt and scarf). If the others on the photo who are on Big Soccer wish to point themselves out - feel free. Only one board member who is not on BS present!

When we spoke to Mr. Garber we asked him "What can we do to help" he said, "KEEP MAKING NOISE" and well, that is what The Borough Boys need to do. Come out in droves and make noise!!! He also said that they are meeting with the City in the near future!!

This was great, all the MLS reps that were there have heard of us and said to keep up the good work!!

The Borough Boys will continue to bring the noise. Especially this summer with all the events we have in store. (Keep tuned in for event dates.)

Nick, I find it very interesting that Mr. Garber said that he will be meeting with the City on the heels of our own meeting with the city. Not that we caused it, but maybe just a little bit. Anyhow seems like ball is rolling in a positive manner and like I always said an announcement is coming soon. Maybe All Star Game or MLS CUP. Either one could make the next couple of months very interesting!

Honestly he said "Keep Making Noise"! We need to rally around this - this is what he said the Borough Boys need to do - of course we are going to do it in our OWN :) way!! LOL

Alll members are urged to share your ideas - email, PM - keep the ideas off the public board but share them!!!

It was our letter and our meeting that initiated the scheduling of this meeting, cosmos. No doubt.

You dudes had garber in the cross hairs with an oportunity to shake him down for some real answers and all you got was "keep making noise" ?????? What the ********!!!

Were you all that star struck that it prevented yous from cornering him and asking real questions and demanding real ********ing answers..........

I would have cornered him asking real questions and warning him not to give me a bullshit pointless answer... then would have even had the nerve to ask him for 20 bucks after the Q and A had ended.........

thats how we do things in Uruguay we shake down every one................especially the "directors"

I know you've been helpful in the past, and I appreciate it Wile. But your comments on here are consistently off base. We would welcome you to our meetings so that you can be informed about everything that's going on, not just what's reported on here.

First, I'm not starstruck by anyone. I am no celebrity F##ker. LEt's get that straight. (and even if I was, Don Garber and Sunil Gulati hardly would qualify.)

second, this was an introduction. We spoke to him about who we are, and how we've gotten the political powers that be interested in finding a site for a franchise, so that he knows we're serious. We will be following up with the hopes of getting a meeting ourselves with some of our own firepower, people with the financial and political power to get this done. You don't demonstrate seriousness with shake downs. Sorry, but the south american ultras model is not for us (not for me, anyway). Maybe once we get the team, you can teach us how to cheer. But "shakedowns" don't demonstrate seriousness.

Third, if you really think you know better than us, if you think you could have gotten the city and MLS together faster to try to come up with appropriate stadium sites, if you think you could have gotten our point of view stated on national television, if you could have gotten at least an initial meet with the commissioner faster, then by all means join us and tell us what to do. Believe me, we would love to have you with us, no joke. But right now, you're just coming off as a hater.

Honestly to, What can he say to us? He is the commissioner and he is trying to win franchises to his league. He can only say so many things to us without burning bridges (and bidding prices) from other investors.

He has said all we need to hear and we have other information that gets discussed at our outings and events. There are certain things that we do not discuss on the boards, as our MEMBERS have a right to know before the public. I urge anyone who is present at our meetings to keep things off the boards but to come our meetings and events to hear how things are developing!

This is not a case of star struck either. We are happy we shook hands and presented him with a scarf, bottom line is and htis is NO JOKE - he has heard of us as did many of the other MLS employees at the field last night. So as far as im concerned, the best thing he can say to us right now is, OH YEA - I KNOW YOU GUYS - and he has! I honestly didnt expect him to tell us - your getting your team on this date!!
