Though it's not confirmed on FSW yet I have heard from a good authority that it will be shown on tape delay as Saturday Match 2 with a 3pm (Eastern) kickoff and then repeated at 11pm.

Lots of big games to watch this weekend. I've found a pub in my area that's showing the Worthless Cup Final where we should all be cheering Man U on. Another cup dissapointment is just what we want Liverpool to have so that their poor league form continues.

Then it's the crucial 3rd and 4th place game between Newcastle and Chelsea. A draw would be good or a Newcastle win would suffice.

As I said above the Everton game is rumoured to be up next and then on Sunday I can only assume that the Arsenal and Charlton game will be shown.

    A feast of football :)

As for our game, check out the preview pack on the official web site:

Lets hope all the results go our way. Happy viewing.

I have to say this: I hate Man U more than any other team outside Los Angeles, and Lazio. I would rather Liverpool win the cup than Man U anyday.

SoccerTV.com is showing this to be the case. Let's hope this week's game is as successful as last week's TV game, although I wouldn't mind it if they wrapped it up before the final minute of the match!

I can understand how you feel about this. However, I love Everton more than I hate Man U or Liverpool or any other team. Therefore in situations like this I have to say to myself "What is best for Everton". I really want Everton to get into europe and build upon that to rise once again to be a major force in the EPL. If you know anything about our history you would know about us as being one of the "big five". Lots of exciting games in Europe and contending for all the domestic trophies on a regular basis. We have been in the wilderness for far too long. We have been mismanaged by both the board of directors and the coaching staff. We now have the chance to change all that. If we qualify for the Champions league, or at least the UEFA cup we will restore some much needed pride. We will be able to hold on to our talented young manager and attract more exciting players.

If Man U win it will put more pressure on Liverpool. They will be intent on catching us up and grabbing that precious ticket into Europe and another setback in this cup competition will further dent their confidence.

Of course I don't like to see Man U win trophy after trophy. But it's just better for us if they do. Besides, it's a worthless competitionn and the fact that Man U are taking this competition seriously is an indication of how the mighty have fallen. A few years ago Man U would do their best to get out of this cup as early as possible but now they are not assured of the League Championship they are trying to win mickey-mouse competitions like this to keep their surrey, torquay and malaysian fans appeased. That in itself makes me happy aswell.

Kerpow, the FSW times you mention at the top have been confirmed. Looking forward to the Everton game tomorrow, but I'm also looking forward to the Newcastle game. They're the other English team I "sympathize with". Though I do more with Everton. Much more really.

I could never support the RS in anything, so unfortunately I have to support Manure in this one.

Boro v EFC is on live in Australia too.

Oh, well we've received a bit of good news and a gift. Chelsea have gpne down 2-1 at St. James' Park to a JFH own goal! Apparently he wasn't content with scoring just one!

So what we know now is that any, any, positive points from this match will see us with the final Champions League spot and in 4th overall with 9 games remaining...and one away to Chelsea at that...

Should vicorty be on the cards for the Toffeemen, I have no problems forseeing us clinging to that last spot with our lives and taking it in the final standings, if not 3rd.

    Go Toffees!

Well this one was a Yawner, I still find it hard to see why Campbell gets the start. Everton become one dimensional with him. Long ball up for him to header on to Rads didnt work and giving the ball to his feet, the balls only going one way, backwords. He cant take on defenderswithout losing it. The Insertion of Mcbride gave Everton a more creative attack. We had two players who could take on defenders. We look a better side with Mcbride or/and Rooney in there than Campbell.

That may well be so, but considering Moyes is a realist and says that he believes the chances of actually capturing McBride are slim, you have to make sure to use what you will be left with to help you succeed.

True yet I still would like to see Rooney in there getting more time with Rads. I think that will be the style more suited for Everton. Couple that with Chadwick after his stunt with Derby is done. Seeing we have Mcbride why not use him.

I agree that it'd certainly be worth trying. However, I'm not sure how much we'll see it considering that Moyes seems to like having a target forward on the field, whether that be Campbell, McBride, or a healthy Ferguson (knock on wood).

The neat thing about Rooney, however, is that while he can effectively handle the duties of a target forward, he also has the play-making ability to create scoring chances for his teammates.

So, IMHO, it should be Rooney who gets the majority of playing time at forward. Then depending on the opponent and game situation, Moyes can pair Rooney up with Radz or Campbell to create the most effective duo up top.

That's just a lot to put on a lad of 17. I know, I know, if he's good enough he's old enough. But the last thing we want to do is burn the boy out and turn him into the next gazza...aka coulda would shoulda..

Anyone else get a brief glimpse of hope for a win when Rooney was released at the end? BTW, that should have been a corner.

Anyways, I think Moyes is handling the Rooney situation very well. And there's no way he's going to staple Rooney in the lineup and have Radz on the bench. Radzinski has earned his spot. I was a little suprised Moyes started Campbell in front of McBride, but Moyes is the one who's been at training and he knows exactly whats going on with the players.

Definately 2 pts lost @ Boro. We shouldve finished them off, and the goal we conceded was stupid.

Gravesen is too slow, he is a good creator from central midfield, is a good man on man defender, but is way too slow coming back. Everytime another team is on a counter attack the whole central midfield is wide open. Boro continuely hit us from the middle.

Rooney shouldve scored, but a great tackle by Southgate.

Radzinski was brilliant but had no support..

Anyone notice the horrible camera angles.. the director mustve fallen asleep.. but I didnt know Liverpool played Saturday morning...

    Conspiracy surely
