Does anyone know the prices of boots in hong kong? I am going there in a couple of weeks and want to get the air zoom total 90 III's or the adidas predator pulses or the nike vapors. Also where to get them would be handy. Thanks
I am from HK originally. Of the Pulse, Vapor and AZT3, I would imagine the AZT3 being the cheapest, about HKD$900 (USD$115). Price for Vapors varies and the normal retail price might be 10-20% more expensive the AZT3. The Pulse should be about HKD$980 (USD$126) for FG and add HKD$100 for the SG. You can often find these boots on sale. However, I don't think the shops have many stock for them. Popular sizes goes really quickly and many shops only get in boots like the Predators once. I would recommend going to a district called Mong Kok in the Kowloon peninsula. They have an area which have loads of shops selling sports shoes and equipment. Further more, there are a couple of shops which only does football boots. You can get there by taking the subway to Mongkok, getting out of exit E2, and walk straight after coming out from that exit.
The last time I went there it was too hot and I forgot to look for them. You better drink alot of water if you're thinking of shopping in HK this time of year.

There are a couple of Adidas shop in HK, I can think of 2. 1 is in the Mongkok area I specified earlier and 1 in the TST Ocean Centre. They are most likely to have them. However I would not be surprised to find them in other sport stores as outdoor/turf football shoes are very popular.
Oh and one more thing. If you are in HK looking for football boots or sport shoes and you are not in a hurry, it is good to looking around first. Prices do vary a lot and strangely for football boots, some shops do discounts for them not long after their release. That is also the reason why they go quite quickly. I remembered I bought a pair of Red Pred Mania for about USD$100 in mid-Sept 2002 at a shop doing a 25% discount on them. They had only been released for a month at most at that time!

AZT III FG: HKD 989 (US 127) Vapors FG: HKD 1055 (US 135) Pulse SG + F50 SG: HKD 1200 (US 154) Pulse FG + F50 SG: HKD 1100 (US 142) These are all retail prices, u can always get a discount on football boots in football stores located in mong kok, where there is a street which sells sports equipments only. Usually u can get up to 20% discount.
Yeah thatz the street in Mongkok I was talking about... But I think there's an Adidas shop near the subway exit and also a football shirt+boots shop right around the corner to that sports shoes street.
