What is a NORMAL service life of average boots under everyday use. Just wondering because I've problems with that.
based on my experience 2~4 times a week: lotto stadio: 1~1.5 yrs (used 2 pairs) adidas copa: 0.5 yrs (still good condition) lotto (forgot name) microfiber plastic: almost 2 yrs some of the following are from my friends: nike do not last more than 1 yr. a few of my team-mates have this problem on different models. not sure which models. puma king around 2 yrs diadora synthetic boots: 1~1.5yrs hope this helps
You're talkin' about 1.5-2 years, my Umbro Element - 9 months, Adidas Pulsion - appr10 months Although I clean and wipe them after every use.
My Specialis were my main boots all last season and last summer and they still look in great condition. I'm interested to see how my F50s hold up. After a few months the silver has started to rub off the toe but everything else is fine (the leather is lovely and soft).
same here - got a pair of black storm blue ones. cpet i'm having problems with my vapors. the sole seems to be separating after three months - i really hope they hold up for a bit longer. most people who have total 90's (at least the II's) seem to have them for a while.
my mania's have gone through more then 2 seasons, and probably at least another one, i play quite often but the keeper position is a bit better on boot wear (studs/toes) then outfielders
My Predator Mania FG's have gone about 9 months now (at least 2 to 5 games a week) on mixed surfaces from Astroplay (the "good" turf) to nicely maintained grass to crappy dusty weed fields, and in the rain as well, and really have no real substantial wear to show for it besides a little bit of the "gun metalness" being worn off the very fronts. The studs are in very good shape (though worn for sure, they have been "smoothed" off where the most contact is made, such as on my preferred shooting foot's frontal instep studs) but that's really about it.
