    I have it.

I'm a big James fan, so I picked it up used a while ago. It's very much a pop album, not as experimental as I was hoping.

But Booth's songwriting is, as always, stellar, and the "bigger" instrumentation behind him makes, at least, for a change of pace from "Pleased to Meet You" or "Whiplash."

That's really funny. I just dug this out the other day after not listening to it for about two years. I was surprised at how well it held up.

As a casual James fan, I think a lot of the songs sound like James. There are some pretty cool songs, and as Freestyle says, it's a pop album. I'd recommend a used copy, but it's definitely worth it if you like Tim Booth's voice.

Also, I don't know if the Amazon blurb mentions this, but Bernard Butler, of (the London) Suede fame, plays guitar on most of the tracks.

I've never, ever heard of this album, but I'm very intrigued. I love James, love Badalamenti's Twin Peaks soundtrack, and think Bernard Butler's great. Time to go a-orderin'.

I have that album too. I was hoping for a darker album since Badalamenti was involved, but overall its still good. I just sold 120 cds and that wasn't one of them so it must hold up a bit.
