This really says it all. To anyone out there moaning about the style of play, wake up to reality. It was a cup final and like all finals, both sides kept it close to the vest. An intriguing encounter that had me glued to the tube and gutted at the end.

Well played Gals and GREAT RUN REV-Os!!!

It's the very nature of soccer, it's very hard psychologicaly to expose yourself and push up offesnively, since you know a single mistake can cost you the cup. The longer a game goes scoreless the less likely a team is to push forward, as you have even less time to rescue yourself. Although I'm going to contradict myself and say that during the golden goal you can't sit back and defend, because any mistakes is the game for sure. Hell I don't know, soccer is such a complex and wonderful thing for how simple it really is. Today was a very good day. Congrats to the Galaxy, and the Revs, as well as their fans, and fans of MLS and soccer in general.
