http://espn.go.com/magazine/bootroom_20020925.html by the way, go out there and pick up that copy of ESPN the MAG that has the donovan article... let them know that you like it with your wallet that's the best sign you can give them
I like when Jeff gets in his "you know, for all youu naysayers who constantly bitch about the problems with MLS, the league has changed the landscape of American soccer and produced some pretty damn good soccer and some great soccer moments" mode. Gets me all warm and fuzzy and inspired. I agree with just about everything he says about the playoffs, though the Revs winning after three ties on PKs in Game 3 is pretty dicey. It would be interesting, though, with both Brown and Thornton such huge keepers, who knows what would happen?
....say it together, "No more teal!"...... Like every other Fire fan, Jeff can't hide his hate for the Galaxy. Just go 'head and SAY it Jeff. Topper
He's obviously a Burn fan. How could he pick the Revs to advance over the Fire and pick Dallas to go all the way? Besides, everyone hates the Galaxy.
Because he picked the burn to win it about 2 months ago, and he doesn't want to back out of it. He is incredibly biased towards the fire, always has been.
Picking the Burn was his way of cursing them. Ever since he picked them it has been all down hill for the burn. Now if he'd just pick the Galaxy.... scumby

Nah, I think he felt like he has to go against the Fire once in a while, just to prove that the family connection doesn't influence him. And yeah, I think everyone does hate the Galaxy. Especially the last minute goal bullsh!t. What's up with that?
