How about those 17 Iraqi soldiers that surrendered before anything started. I guess they thought they could recieve fatal wounds of paper cuts from the leaflets the US forces were dropping. Paper Cuts hurt. The onloy people who surrender faster then the Iraqi are the French.
Maybe its because they don't support Saddam at all. Most people in Iraq hate him, so why would they die for him?
Telegram for Mr Hussein Land Shark Cover of Time Candygram. (USS Bunker Hill, forward deployment, Persian Gulf, sent Saddam a good morning kiss this morning)
isn't that the song of the 2002 WC? *shudders* significant explosions over baghdad... in terms of radio 920 WMNI-AM has continual coverage.. 99.7 WBZX-FM and 103.9 WEGE-FM will join in when necessary to CNN radio. So if you're in the car, you know where (or where not) to turn... 87.7 (or something like that) is a simulcast of ABC, but i don't recommend that unless you need to, as the audio is very, very weakly broadcast. and for those who care, the basketball is on espn (whereas a US WCQ was not, even though the situation was similar....) CBS feed, on ESPN... with a bottom line of course, 2 espn logos and 1 cbs logo. Screen is quite cluttered. And i don't think there was a bottom line on espn2..
I can't wait to se the reception our boys get at the Confederations Cup in France this summer. Probably won't be any worse than playing Mexico in LA! They should feel right at home.
DAMN THIS WAR!! So USA feel so powerful going there and destroying cities and kill people while they are so safe in their country???? Also those English supporting *********************s. So you feel so powerful in front of Irak´s surrender soldiers, who doesn´t want to be killed by those invaders! I´m not agree with Saddan but I´m not agree with destructions, that is not the only way to peace! Damn this unfair war, don´t you get tired of destroy other countries??
everyword I write here is one to many and I wont check back either. But how sick ! You guys dont even know whats going on.
English language a bit of a challenge for you then? For the record, Mr Hemingway, I'm not agree with destructions either. In fact, I think I speak for everyone here when I say they no agree with destructions either. Well, Eggy probably agree with destructions, but he'd be the only one. Maybe FF too, come to think of it. I've always suspected him of agree with destructions, that bastard. Have a nice life.
What part of "the whole world despises us" don't you understand? I won't say you're an idiot, just perceptively challenged.
What part of "Angola doesn't get to decide what the US does to protect itself" don't you understand? The whole world hasn't liked us for some time, Mango. This just gives them a better excuse to holler about it. We are big, strong, rich and successful. They don't like it. That's a real shame. Keeping me up at night. Interesting comment from somebody who equates liberating a country from a sadistic, butchering animal and what the Germans did from 1939 to 1945. It ain't MY perceptions that are the problem here, but rather your sick, twisted hatred of America and your overblown ridiculous rhetoric. Idiot.
1. Since 9/11 we don't feel so safe. 2. To date more people died here on 9/11 than have died in the current liberation of Iraq. But that won't stop al Jazeera from spreading lies about US/UK atrocities. Even scenes of Iraqis dancing in the street won't change that. Meanwhile, we get to be the bad guys in the eys of the world. Enjoy.
It ain't America I hate, I just hate being hated. I should know better than to use irony in the presence of an iron-bound imagination. But don't lose that atavistic point of view. You wouldn't be you without it.
Yes, the whole world hates us, but they buy our cars, movies, CD's, jerseys, clothes. etc. A bit ironic, isn't it?? The Euros didn't get much of a fight from us when they asked us to help settle the Kosovo issue, one that didn't even concern us. But now, when we are trying to make things safer for us, and for Iraqis, we are considered a marauding army. It's kind of funny, unlike Michael Moore.
