Hmm. They try to make it look like the manager does more than pick a team for the game and writes it on the back of his beer coaster.
Capitalizing on the shittiest 19 teams ever in the prem. They should all be relegated. 3 of them will embarrass us in the CL.
Jurgen Klopp accused Atletico Madrid's players of deliberately attempting to get Sadio Mane sent off in Liverpool's 1-0 defeat at the Wanda Metropolitano. Champions League holders Liverpool suffered just a fourth loss of the campaign in Tuesday's last-16 first leg after Saul Niguez's fourth-minute strike. Klopp made the surprise decision to substitute Mane, the match-winner against Norwich City at the weekend, for Divock Origi at half-time.

simply superb interview with Klopp. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...othes-keys-to-coaching-team-talks-kick-it-out
https://www.football365.com/news/jurgen-klopp-biggest-liverpool-challenge-yet-opinion I have to say I agree with this. Two CL finals, one CL win (and for a lot of these players an EL final, too), a record breaking 2nd place PL finish, and now a (potentially) record breaking PL win all achieved with a stable core of players and an unchanged first XI should lead to some type of change. While I don't think Werner was the right choice of transfer, I would have backed Klopp and been interested to see how he changed tactics with a player that can't play the 9 like Bobby and can't play wide like Sadio or Mo. Klopp has not been given enough credit for his ability as a tactician - his first season here was 'triage' so to speak and resulted in two finals. His 'heavy metal' football got us a 4th place finish and to a CL final. A more nuanced approach brought us to the precipice of a title win and a CL win. That approach was carried over to this season yielding us a PL title. What's next? Can the same group of players be taught new tactics? Who has improved in the 2nd XI and reserves that can come in and push and change? Reports this week suggest Klopp is 'frustrated' with Keita and is ready to look at replacements for him (Ruben Neves of Wolves is suggested as a replacement). Or will Ox and Jones simply take all the minutes that would have been afforded to Keita? Is Minamino an understudy to Bobby or can he be a replacement for Lallana in the central 3? Or both? Could Grujic come back and change the dynamic of the midfield to a more physical, forceful approach? Can Brewster add anything to the front 3? A lot of questions to be answered over the summer and coming transfer windows.
Weird that those reports of the frustration with Keita appeared at the same time that other reports have said that Keita has been the standout performer since the teams returned to training.
Agree with this. Were the reports originally not from that rag, anyway? I seem to remember reading something in the Daily Mail and immediately stopping when it said " ... according to ...."
A lot of his problems have been physical, so being the standout in the first few practices does not really give us a good forecast of his impact for this year. He has to stay healthy.
I think about 99.999% of everyone associated with the club have been frustrated by his injuries. doesn't mean they've lost patience or regret him being signed ....
well according to what Wingtips posted - they have lost patience and are looking to sign a replacement (Neves). Which I also agree is bs media making up stories to get their clicks. My point is that the timing of the frustrations was odd when he was lauded just now for his work during the shutdown and his application on return to training.
100% newt. thinking about being frustrated when a new signing doesn't immediately click .... reminds me of Crouchie. IIRC he went 17 games without scoring when he arrived. now THAT is frustration. but now all LFC fans love him.
