    Hello All.

Reading Morbo "The Story of Spanish football" by Phil Ball at the moment.
    Can recommend the book.

I've been reading Morbo as well. Ball's writing style makes for a good read. I enjoy his weekly columns on soccernet.com as well. It is more than just players and playing style for him. He really brings the atmosphere, the essence if you will, of Spanish football to his writing. Ball's a bit more even-handed than most as well. Something like a well-informed, independent observer.

Unfortunately, it is hard book to get in the US. I had to import it from amazon UK, which with shipping, ran about $30.00. Considering I haven't felt like reading a book since finishing my English major, it was probably worth it, though.

Sid Lowe has an insightful weekly column on the Spanish League in The Guardian. I like the fact he tells it as he sees it, and does not seem to favour any particular club.
