    STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG

Probably played his last game for Bolton.

When he gets out we'll have had him for a year and he's played all of 4 times.... great.

Typo. Either that or I confused him with the deceased punk rock legend, Stig Bator.

Too bad, actually, because he was fairly effective in a few of the World Cup matches I saw him in.

I believe you mean Stiv Bators, from the Dead Boys.

There really should be a picture of Stig to go along with the article. I miss Stig.

For now, at least, he's the website's headliner, so there's a picture of him on the front page of the football section.

the Guardian updated that other article since I posted it this morning. There was nothing about what he experienced when he was 13, for instance. That'll definitely change the way most people approach the world.

Cafe Ketchup is where it occured (or so says Soccernet.com). Can you imagine being laid low by doings at Care Ketchup? Poor Stig. He had a fine World Cup which promised much for Bolton. You have to wonder now whether he isn't through.

I thought he was going to play for Bolton this weekend (he's back in England now) and the sentance was suspended and he has the possibility to appeal.

Its only 4 months and the guy that got the **** kicked out of him probably deserved it ;)

Looks like Stig will still be a Bolton Wanderer, at least through this season.

    http://www.uefa.com/footballcentral/News/Kind=2/newsId=40665.html

Scroll down to the bottom of th short article for an interesting, though unsurprising, note on a few of Stig's friends.

by the way, since the moron who started this thread can't spell, it would be kind of a moderator to put us out of his misery by correcting "Stiv" to Stig"
