No Balo, no Kaka or Pazzini, so SES, Poli and Robinho have to create some miracle.

This is why we should have gotten Honda and or Ljajic. Niang should never lead an attack at his age. Only a young sub in the second half. Forces Mario to be a saint with the referrees, which we know he isn't. They have one finger on the card as soon as he looks their way. Even so, it was very bad by Mario. WIth half the squad unavailable, he had a chance to be a leader and put the team on his back. He has to know better. Milan better let it drop now though, it is not worth ruining what they have in Balotelli...he is too important.

Galliani can go and on and say we have 5 or 6 forwards but it doesn't matter when they are Birsa and Robinho. I'd rather see Petagna as raw as he is. Get us some real options with 11 million, not Matri!

I wouldn't want to be in Allegri's chair right now.

Injuries or no injuries if he keeps losing then you have to figure he's gone before the weekend.

Robinho misses a simple 1v1 against Curci, while Birsa fails to score on the follow up. Preatty much sums Milan up atm. We're so unlucky. Matri's also had a few chances but he's useless.

Like anyone had the illusion that the defense was decent. It.wasn't and isn't, but we let Juve have Ogbonna...even other cheaper options are not pursued. Allegri will be made the scape goat but the defense is the biggest culprit in this one. No other coach that is paying attention should take the job till Galliani fixes the real problem!

wow, 3-3 with Binho and Abate coming late to salvage a draw. But wow, we are just awful. Allegri was saved this time, but this can't continue...At this pace we will again struggle just to break into the top 4

If we're 6 points off third place come Christmas, I think we're in good shape...

Still no fan of Allegri here, but if Kojak doesn't get him a good CB in Jan, he should walk away.

What's Allegri suppose to do?? Half of the team is injured.

Our defending is really bad though. Should of used that Matri money for a decent defender. Mexes and Zapata are average at best.

I agreed...if they lost today and Allegri was sacked, he'd just be the scape goat...our biggest and most glaring problem is the D

I took some time off work to watch this with my pops. I almost lost my head during the game...christ, this Milan really knows how to put you through the ringer

Still should of won this game though and you have to think that Allegri is on thin ice (injuries or no injuries there's only so many poor results you can allow).

i agree that this defense is our weakest link, but mexes and zapata aren't "bad" defenders, they are average. not "milan quality" but average. with that being said, allegri might have something to do with our bad defending because an average defense shouldn't concede three goals to bologna. only a terrible defense should allow them to score that much. i think part of the problem is that allegri is making this defense look worse than they actually are, but galliani really should have been able to avoid this situation all together

    I agree.

The defense on paper isn't terrible but we're giving up a lot of goals in the league so there's definitely something suspicious there tactically.

(Zapata is starting to get on my nerves though, I wouldn't lose sleep if Silvestre took his place).

i just looked up some stats. we have conceded 10 goals so far in our first 5 games. that is tied for the third worst record in serie a. only bologna (11 conceded) and sassuolo (16 conceded, but 7 of those were in one game) have had more goals scored on them. sad.

Diamanti is a tricky little player isn't he? Love to have him on Milan.

I think Milan will wake up...its just a matter of when and hopefully not too low in the table. We've got to get better on crosses and set pieces. I really like Mexes, but Zapata is too inconsistent. Bring back Thiago Silva!
