    jefferson

in response to the question about jefferson gottardi, ex-mutiny...a story came out in today´s los tiempos and it said that he has been suffering from double vision and has been unable to play for the last year or so...he is currently a player for brasilian side goias..he is asking help from the fbf and bolivar to help pay for his medical bills from the specialist in the u.s.

I might be wrong, but didn't he get hurt here playing in the MLS? I remember someone getting a concussion, or was that Fernandez?

As of right now guys, i dont see any hope of seeing bolivia making the 2006 world cup unless alot of practice and money is spent, money in which bolivian federation dont have. We dont even have a coach, all our talented players such as baldivieso, soria, oscar sanches to name a few are getting older, we have no young stars, castillo is doing well in mexico but can he perform well for the national team?

The FBF need to start spending money on a coach, last time we made it to the world cup in 94 was because of the coach we had, he was from spain, now i think we should hire a foreign coach as well, perhaps Bora, but in order to do that we ned money, which like i said before we dont have.

Brasil and argentina could already book their tickets to germany the other two spots will be fought by the rest, the way i see it paraguay, uruguay and colombia will be fighting for those two spots
who knows theres a long way to go, and i hope Bolivia improve their soccer, because its saddens me to see my country fail so much.

Vaca to Colorado? Wow! We really need him here.

Well the Bolivian NT could be coming to an interesting phase. The defenses is still solid with most players in their early thirties and with good international experience. Also some new defenders coming up like Ronaldo Ralda. Of course, Peña heads the greatest defense in Bolivian history. We just need a player to cover for Sandy's lack of form. Meanwhile we probably have the greatest pair of laterals to ever play for Bolivia in Bolivar's Colque and Ribeiro

The forward position with Botero, Castillo and Suarez is for once well covered. These players are young and lack experience but they are quickly getting some. Castillo at Tecos is doing a decent job for such a bad team, Botero of course is now well known in South America and is now heading to Mexico to play for Hugo Sanchez' team. I can't stress enough how good this is for Bolivia given that the '94 team qualified with a only one good forward (slow but effective Ramallo).

The weak point for Bolivia is the midfield. After years of being spoiled by so many great 10s we are now left with no true ten. In the nineties we had four international quality players who had played all over the world and now we have nothing. This not only happening in Bolivia. There's a lack of 10s all over the world but we need to learn how to play without one. Other midfield positions seem to be undermanned also. However the strong Bolivian lateral game makes this less evident. The only true standout for the Bolivian midfield is Tufiño although he is not as good as Soria was IMO.

The worst part is the horrible situation at the Bolivian Federation. There is no money, no coach and probably no plan. Without that even the best players won't qualify Bolivia.

Very true. Botero is getting 20K a month in Mexico which is close to MLS maximum. Besides, it's cheaper to live in Mexico.

ÁNGEL CAPPA volverá a dirigir a RACING

El entrenador Angel Cappa llegó a un principio de acuerdo para hacerse cargo del plantel futbolístico de Racing Club en reemplazo de Osvaldo Ardiles, por lo que volvería a dirigir en la "Argentina" después de varios años de ausencia.

    Limberg is FAT...f-a-t

although he should be our #10, he is lethal on free kicks. play him 60 minutes and sub him.
